RDFTV, from Omaha, will be in Colorado in a couple of weeks to do the filiming.  If you know of a Native American of Ute heritage and if they would like to talk about their Nation, could you get a hold of me?  I think they are going to center around the Northern Ute Tribe this first time and get the Southern later. They have been doing the plain Indians and my son suggested they try some of the Mt. tribes so they decided to give it shot. Hi Gail      To my knowlege and research in my books the Ute tribe has never lived  in MT.  Unless a century ago.. A double check  http://www.uteindian.com/ute_tribal.htm                                                                                                                                    link                  http://www.bigorrin.org/ute_kids.htm There are currently around 3500 Ute Indians living on the Uintah and Ouray Reservations in Utah, they own 1,300 000 acres of land on which they operate their own government, exploit their own resources,  and continue to promote their heritage.  Ceremonial dances are performed are performe throughout the year on the major reservations, and an annual PowWow is held at the Tribal Headquaters in Fort Duchesne. Now I know and can connect you to a lot of the Crow Indian tribe where I grew up,  if that is what you want  e-mail me ...there are great  story tellers there, am not sure what  you kneed.  The Crows and been in movies, continually in the lime light...they probably with charge you.  one great person lives in CA. now but but is home every summer, her parents have quite a story, I wrote some of her biography but can't share without her permission. Are you doing the Lumbee Indians? came thru the NW with Crows etc, now based in NC  ...that is the tribe that does not use the Gov. for their food, etc.etc...I know because I am married to one, their his is amazing. .Jo Ann   Did you see Stosell special on Fox news last month?   The Lumbees may not be interested either... -- ------------------------------- To unsubscribe from the list, please send an email to TTTP-request@rootsweb.com with the word 'unsubscribe' without the quotes in the subject and the body of the message

    3. David, I use KompoZer, too, and you can use it in WYSIWYG or HTML format, so you might check it out. Works for me, but I don't know much actual code... however, I like that I can copy code for widgets and transfer them into the HTML view very easily. Just my two cents. 3. Well, it has been a very informative trip!!! I finally located the cemetery where my gr gr gr grandparents are buried.  I had been told that the cemetery was in pretty bad shape, but five years ago, the local historical society went to the state to get the township to clean it up.  However, the damage has already been done and pretty severely.  Apparently at one point, cattle had been allowed to roam through it and it wasn't fenced. Of the dozen plus stones, only two are not broken and readable. I have contacted the local veterans service officer for help replacing one of the stones, but he's a horses' patoot and no help (I was warned by someone in the local historical society that he's no help, as well). I will get him a new stone somehow, as his stone is in several pieces and illegible in most places. With the support of the local historical society (and I believe that they will help as well, because they hate to see veterans' graves desecrated too). I have located another early county atlas, too! The one I currently have online that I loaded on last year when I was up was a 1905, this one is a 1919 -- and has LOTS of pictures that people submitted at the time!!!! YIPPEEEE!!!! My aunt is trying to locate a letter that was passed down to her. It happens to be from the gr gr gr grandfather mentioned above to his family when he was a missionary/circuit rider in northern Wisconsin to some tribes. If she locates it, I get a copy!!!! And I have found some more information on assorted schools, etc to load onto the site. When I was in Fond du Lac County yesterday, I was hoping to get some pictures at one of the cemeteries or of some of the other things in the area, but that didn't happen. However, I do have a bunch of obits to transcribe and send, Jan. Well, off to get repacked and get the kids all packed. We head south tomorrow.... Jeanne/jmh

I wanted to be able to help others that were searching their surnames and just maybe someone they were looking for that might have died in Florida. These are from 2005 to 2010 almost out of daily papers. I am in need of money right now and may loose my home, so I would like to sell these. I have 3 or 4 boxes full and I am only asking $30.00 for everything. Thank you for any and all help. Pat *****************************

    3. So happy you had a great holiday.  We had Easter dinner with family and all went well also.  there were 4 girls and 1 boy in our family and us girls were always trying to one up on the other.  Our Poor brother suffered for it.  Love you God Bless God Speed Jeannie in KY From: Jeanne Hicks <jmcolby_hicks@yahoo.com> To: tttp@rootsweb.com Sent: Sunday, April 8, 2012 7:09 PM Subject: Re: [TTTP] Holiday I will see what I can do about Waushara County.  I will be going to visit my Aunt Leah on Tuesday and she lives in Eldorado, Fond du Lac County (so I will see what I can get photographed!!!)  My sister and her tribe has already left.  It was a nice visit with them and I now feel YOUNG!!!  (Well, except for this pain, that pain and the other one, that is!!)  My sister is 21 months younger than I am and she is GRAY!!!!  I have a few gray hairs here and there which I promptly pull out.  I take after my mother.  She's not gray either.  My sister takes after my dad and he's been gray since he was 25 (well, what hair he kept, that is!!)  So now I feel young again.  There has always been some form of competition between my sister and I.  I am 21 months older, 1/4 inch taller (at 5 foot nothing, every quarter counts!!), and not only that, but she's gray and I am not!!!  Sorry, didn't mean to gloat, just had to share!!!
