    3. What I do for this is sign up for the roots mail list for my counties and send notices as I do updates for my sites- It has been working thus far. there is also list for an entire state like here in Fl. Only thing is, once in awhile you get a twit who admins a list ( usualy a USGW member ) who refused to pass your notices along to the list- I have that problem with our Florida list for roots. Peggy -----Original Message----- From: Charlie Vines Sent: Friday, July 06, 2012 1:53 PM To: TTTP@rootsweb.com Subject: [TTTP] A couple of questions Hi Again, I have a couple of questions. 1. If this the place to post updates to my sites for the group or would that info go to another place? 2. If there a public forum available for posting updates so that people can be made aware of updates. I noticed the TEXAS-TTTP-L on rootsweb and the Facebook page for the group. I assume these would be the places. Yes/No? Related question. Is the TEXAS-TTTP-L a public list (can anyone join)? If this is meant to be a public list, how would I get one created for the U.S. Territories.? Ok, enough questions for now. Wife is waiting for me to go run some errands. Blessings, Charlie Vines charlie.vines@gmail.com 112 chickens for my birthday - https://www.mygfa.org/charliesbday/ ------------------------------- To unsubscribe from the list, please send an email to TTTP-request@rootsweb.com with the word 'unsubscribe' without the quotes in the subject and the body of the message

    3. I have been spending as much time as I can gathering data during the day. Today I was at the McDowell County Courthouse in Marion, NC. Anyway, here is my question/thought/etc requiring some input: I was asked if I had a business card. I have been asked in the past, but haven't made any. However, I have been wondering if others have a business card for Trails, what do you put on it? Having a large area in North and South Carolina, for those I could put covering most of the area once part of Tryon County, North Carolina, but that's also fourteen different counties, each with their own site. I don't have the state of North Carolina (nor do I want it, btw) When I make trips to Mississippi, I could have one made listing the Mississippi state site. Same for Wisconsin, Mississippi, Missouri, etc. I guess my main question is, when you have cards made to leave at genealogical societies, libraries, historical societies, clerk of courts, register of deeds, etc, do you make an individual card for each county/site OR do you just have one card made listing the project site and your email addy? If others have already done this, would you please share what you put on your cards? Gail, if you prefer one single design, would you please post it, so that we can add names and email addresses, as appropriate? Jeanne/jmh
