I hope you are feeling rested and recuperated. There's no snowballs chance in a hot place that I will/could win the election. The people needed to win the election have given up on the project. They just do what they do and ignore the upper echelons. It's no longer a coordinated project. It's an interconnected series of individual projects. That is kinda how I was thinking. Each county mailing list, but also the tttp list. 1. The facebook page. 2. Gail's idea about Texas groups in Facebook was good. There are a few. None have a lot of members, but could still bring traffic. I will also be checking to see if there are any county specific groups. 3. I am a member of Genealogywise.com, a genealogy based social network. Not large, but again could bring traffic. 4. Finally posting here. If this doesn't get the word out, I don't know what will. Only thing is, once in awhile you get a twit who admins a list ( usualy a USGW member ) who refused to pass your notices along to the list- I have that problem with our Florida list for roots. If you only knew how many times in the past I have done that- Sometimes it is a day or 2 before I even see a post I have made in reply to some ones question. They have their list of rules posted on their USGW Florida site- >You are not allowed on the Florida list to mention any county in the entire >state by name -( Extra Stupid- forget trying to help someone-) I have not used the list for the state of which I live in because of that fact.
