    2. donkelly
    3. People on different projects are exchanging good ideas to help everyone in genealogy. ========= I thought I would share this little tip that I picked up on another list Recently. Down at the bottom of a page where the copyright notice is, Substitute <script>document.write((new Date).getFullYear())</script> For 2012. This is a little bit of Javascript that pulls in the current Year. It works as long as the user hasn't disabled Javascript. Keeps the Copyright notice up to date without having to open and modify the pages Every year and reload. ========== Don

    3. Good Morning, In order to save time and e-mails to the group, I will reply to the emails sent today/yesterday. Linda, Katy, Marie, Billie, and Fran, Thanks Don, Thanks and would be glad to add your Dallas Co family to the website Ray, I will check this out. Sounds like a positive option. I will look more into it after I get all my hosted sites online. I will contact you offline if I have any questions. BTW, if your site is all your family, then we may be cousins (in-law). My wife's grandmother was Stella Estelle Stephens who was the daughter of Mary Jane Barnes who was the daughter of Berry Lee Barnes and the sister of Henry Matterson Barnes. I remember the name, but haven't looked into this line in a while. All of the data I have loaded was lost when my pc crashed so I would have to dig out my notes to verify more (moved a couple of time since that pc crash, so that will be a lot of fun). I like the way your site is laid out. Gail, I modified the "___" so hopefully it will all be on one line. Usually it is "All Rights Reserved, date" is all that is needed to safegard the copyright. 3. In most all the cases I know of if a document/book is copyrighted it has the copyright notice somewhere, usually on one of the opening pages. I can't find one anywhere in this one. 3. No, Not all get through tax money. They sell books they write, etc and their copyright are valid in spite of it.
