I am in shock. Knowing the end is coming in the future doesn't seem as close as realizing that it is here. I have had her on the prayer list at church. I pray for her to have peace. Maybe I am wrong (wouldn't be the first time), but I think that is what she needs most. And I pray for her family. Hi everyone, I had hoped to come to you with better news, but I can't. Brenda is back in the hospital and this time it doesn't appear that she'll ever walk back out. This time she's in intensive care. She had a stress-related heart attack last night that did significant damage to that muscle. This is on top of a broken neck for the second time. Brenda's stomach is now swollen to a 9-month pregnancy with triplets (this from her daughter-in-law who is at Brenda's bedside). This is the ascites I told you all about in earlier messages. This infection has now gone into her bloodstream. Brenda is on fluids to keep her blood pressure up however, those same fluids have no where to go out of her body. Though she is on a catheter, it isn't enough. The fluids are going to cause another breakdown in her body system, they just don't know where yet. But when that next whatever happens, Brenda will be pulled off the fluids and nature will be allowed to take its course while keeping her comfortable. She has signed a DNR (Do Not Resusitate) order. I talked to her just a little bit ago. Her breathing is labored, very raspy. Her family has been called in and met this morning with the doctor and Brenda, herself. The doctor says her condition is extreme. She has days to weeks left to live, the doctor unable to give a better idea of the length of time left. All he can say is he "can't speak for God." Brenda has been my closest friend since we were stationed at Fort Sill, Oklahoma 18 years ago, yet we've never met. To say this is a hard message to write is an understatement. I've been looking into flights to head for Michigan, where she lives to finally meet her and to say good-bye at the same time. :`( Whether I'll go or not, I still don't know. I want to remember Brenda on the other side of my phone and my monitor, not lying in a hospital bed. So I'm caught. I don't know what else to say. It really hurts, though. Be with the Creator, Bren. I love you, my friend. Colleen

Hi Gail, I hope your doing well, Fawn has asked if she could take Florida. I'd like to let her have it, that way I can concentrate more on Ga. and also maybe set up a site in my home county, Chautauqua, in NY State, as no one has that at this time, and I have a lot of knowledge of that area having lived there for 40 years. I'd keep Clay County, Fl. as that's where I live now and I have access to lots of stuff. I still can't ftp the SEdistrict. Maybe I can get a new password or something. I've tried all the variations of what I have, and nothing seems to work. Thanks lots, and have a great day! jim Jim in Florida www.albrogenealogy.com

OK- Fran has helped me with this question- I think as she does it was when Daryl passed away- the conversation about passwords came up and how Girard would have to issue new ones- Something to this effect. All is OK on my end- uploading some of what I have since my computer went down - had a problem getting the FTP thing to work proper, but all is now right in the world of uploading- Thank you Fran Smith Peggy -----Original Message----- From: Gail Kilgore Sent: Sunday, October 09, 2011 3:35 AM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [TTTP] PASSWORDS Nothing on Rootsweb.. but if it is on Trails.. new passwords haven't been issued... g On Sat, Oct 8, 2011 at 6:37 AM, PMcSwain <[email protected]> wrote: > Yes this I know, I have found my password- Just making sure nothing has > changed in the past 3 or so months- My computer went down, lost the > password > for awhile, but now have it. Boy do I second that statement, Gail. In the end though, the researcher is looking for material to move on with their genealogical search and I really don't think they are so much impressed with HOW it's presented - just that it IS presented. Gail, A while back you asked how I got the newspaper clippings to look like newspaper clippings. Is this like what you were asking about: http://www.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~okcslsa/payne/news.htm If it is, it's really quite simple. Set the table width to about 400 pixels and your text alignment to justify. Be sure to get any text in the original article that spans two lines to one line. It's not the exact image of the article but it looks a lot like a newspaper article. -- "Democracy is two wolves and a lamb deciding what to have for dinner.
