Most of the Vigo tryons appear to be descendants of Noah Tryon (1772- ), son of John Tryon + Rhoda Lucas of Middletown. Noah went west early in life and had a pretty big family. I suspect that Rowland's presence in the same county may be more a coincidence than not. They have remote common ancestry - specifically, their common ancestor is William who came from Bibury. > > RE: Charles E. What concerns me is the VR entry that says Edwin C, then parenthetically adds Charles E - are they the same? Or is the clerk confused? Or what? You have certainly whetted my appetite for that Berrien History!!! Dan
