I took the liberty of sending your message to the list, hope you don't mind. It appeared that it was only sent to me. Although I'm not used to how rootsweb headers appear. I guess we'll get used to it quick enough. With all the mailing lists down for a time, my mailbox seemed so empty....now I'm back to about 300/day...about normal (not all mine - Christian gets a lot of Star Trek "stuff"). More importantly, the "down" time should make us feel us very grateful to Rootsweb for taking on the enormous task of absorbing all the surname mailing lists free of charge....literally hundreds and hundreds of them. I will not take this priviledge for granted. There are grand hopes out there in the genealogical community for so much in the way of databases, and other info to be placed on the web. I am sure we are just seeing the beginning of what is to be the biggest resource yet in research. Bringing all the listowners together under Rootsweb is yet another way to bring us closer. Can't wait to see the future will bring! So, now where were we? Bring on the TRYON queries!! (I'm off the soapbox now - just v-e-r-y thankful that all my lists are back up again).
