That would put his birthdate back around 1700 (or 1699, just to emphasize his probable generation.) I have wondered about this person, and have tentatively concluded that he is grandson of the original William of Wethersfield, through son Thomas (b. ca 1678). This branch is mostly unknown, except they are known to have been the first branch to remove far away from Wethersfield, via Glastonbury. If anybody has further thoughts on him, please contribute them. Any vague clue is welcome at this point. Dan
