    3. Vicki, I know I remain comatose through most of the postings, but you wakened me briefly with you last few posts :) (Gad, parenting teenagers who can't drive is all consuming...) I didn't have time to dig through my records too much, and most of your posts are neatly kept at work. My son monopolizes my computer at night these days..He's eating now. I have about 5 minutes........ Curious about the John TRYON in Moira...I have a slew of them at Moira: a few... Philander TRYON b. c1806 QC, m. Elmira BRYANT had: Julius 1829, Mahala c1831, Marilla c1833, mary c1835, Luther R. 1837, Diana c1840, John W. May 1842 Moira, Elsa 1845 and Alma 1846 --- all born Moira. William TRYON b. 1813 QC, m. Lucinda SLOSSON, both buried Moira in 1883 and 1884. They had: Marion 1844, Betheda 1846, Washington 1847, Ambrose 1849 and William Emmett 1851 - all born Moira. Richard TRYON b. c1822 QC m. Electa ? and had several ch at Moira: Sarah c1847, Wallace 1848, Isabel 1851, Helen 1854 and Joel 1859. There were other related TRYONs who settled in Essex County, mostly around Westport and Elizabethtown. Others in the family were living in Burke and Chateaugay, Franklin Co, NY.....Then, others made it even more widespread by settling in St Lawrence County, at Stockholm and Norfolk. These were all descended from my good ol' David TRYON of VT and Quebec, b. c1742 son of Daniel TRYON and Ellenor VAUGHAN of New Fairfield, CT and Shaftsbury, VT in the 1760-1790 period. Whew,...Christian is done eating. Mother is now being sent off.....banished at 45... - Who the heck taught him how to use this darn thing, anyway?! ******************************************************************** Pam Wood Waugh, 730 Dunhill Drive, Orlando, FL 32825 (407)275-8514 ******************************************************************** Email: moodies@magicnet.net(home) or waughp@ocps.k12.fl.us(work) Eastern Townships of Quebec genealogy page: http://www.magicnet.net/~moodies/et2.html My Family Lines: http://www.magicnet.net/~moodies "I think that I shall never see, a finished genealogy"
