    3. I've read about this group in the past; it is a very intriguing story. At some of the genealogical conferences they are starting to talk about genetics more frequently. I wonder how soon it will be until descent can be proven by testing genetics of a "known" or "proven" descendant and comparing to someone who is unknown or trying to prove descent. There is something about a y chromosone that passes down the femme generations unchanged, and that there might be circumstances where this type of comparison would work today.
