In 1830, Benjamin RYON m. Minerva Goodell, both of Fowler. I always suspected that that was the Benjamin whose will was probated in St. Lawrence Co. where Fowler is located. Your records show that "probate" Benjamin didn't get there until just before 1850. That means that the marraige could be for Benjamin of Greene Co. as he worked his way toward MI. Does anybody have records of anything close to Benjamin/Minerva marraiges? There is very little info on Benjamin Peter's wife/wives, but the marraige to a Goodell might explain the Goodell connection I see in MI 1 generation later. It would be a stepmother to the Benjamin who settled in Allegan with the Goodell's, and also for Adelia, since she was born circa 1829. Vicki
