Has anybody been able to connect this name to the Durham Tryon's? As there was a John Tryon in Madison Co. NY in 1830, where Sally Tryon supposedly married Calvin Lewis, and then a John Trin in Kalamazoo Co. MI after that (1840?), and since Benjamin's widowed dau-in-law married into the Hopkins family, I thought it might be worth a look. The marraige record for this couple in the Presby church in Greenville, NY places his location as Durham. That is where Asa Tryon of CT settled. Vicki
