Found a group of MI Tryon's with Canadian connections. Timothy Tryon died on Aug 12, 1868 at age 5y 8m 11d in Davison, Genesee Co. MI. His death cert states he was born in Canada to Luther and Elizabeth Tryon who lived in Davison at the time of his death, supposedly. There is one other Genesee Co. MI record in my database: Deborah Eliza (Tryon) Cole age 37 m. May 4, 1869 to Peter Langford 36. They were both of Davison, Genesee Co. but Deborah was born in Durham NY. (circa 1832) Durham TWP is in Greene Co. NY, and the lines of Asa and Richard lived there. Some of this line eventually removed to Niagara Co. NY, so it is possible that some wandered to Canada also. The only Tryon listed in Durham in 1840 was John C. Tryon.
