Jacob Klasges married Catharine Peifer in 1824 and had a son Jacob in Stockigt, near Nussbaum. after her death, Jacob married Angela Hoffmann Jacob Klasges senior with second wife Angela Hoffmann came with their family to Le Sueur Co, Minnesota. Their son Michael served in the Minn Mounted Rangers in the early 1860's. They came from Stockigt & Enzen in Bitburg Jacob Jr, son of the first wife, Catharine Peiper, had come to the US earlier but moved with his wife to Le Sueur Co, MN to join them. Most modern MN Klaseus families can be traced to these.
