Thanks everyone. the census records help. I had the immigration ship records from the president schmit. They were with my Dellwo ( Delvaux) family from Reinsfeld ( and Damflos) and were really good friends. Just don't know if they parted ways when our Peter came to MN instead of Chicago, or if that family ended up coming here to MN or went on to Wisconsin as planned. I should have explained what I was after. I will print out everything and compare and see what I have.
