Hello, this is the results from Jerome going to the county historical society. Sorry Ursala. So you could write to the church in Calumet County. Probably look on the internet for the address for Green Bay diocese. hugs marge ----- Original Message ----- From: Jerome A. Plat books for land ownership were issued in 1862 and 1880 and, of course, we would not expect that he would be in either of those. In those early days births, deaths, etc were not required to be reported to the Sheboygan County offices so there is nothing there. Assuming they were Catholic, and attended the church at St. Anna in Calumet County, you could contact the diocese office in Green Bay, WI I believe they hold old church records, but it may take 2-3 months for a reply, so I am told. Sorry I could not be of help. Jerry ----- Original Message ----- From: Marge dellwo To: Jerome A. Heisdorf Sent: Sunday, November 05, 2006 11:27 PM Subject: Re: Matthias Georges Wow, that is good. Is the object of this r esearch to find the family again? And I suppose that would mean finding the decendents names. Ursalla will be happy with this. marge ----- Original Message ----- From: Jerome A. If they have info I will tell you what they have. Maybe there is nothing available for you to spend the time driving, etc. Jerry Heisdorf ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ No virus found in this incoming message.
