Werner, My family came from the Bernkastel area. This is what I had found on the LDS site Antonius Nierschbach ( Christened Feb. 13, 1840) Katholisch Filzen Bernkastel, Rheinland, Preussen. The only other thing I have is a post card (somewhere) of the Trier area stating on the back that that was where the family came from.
