The list of Baltimore arrivals even had the name of my grandmother's home village. Check marriage records for Lee county as you also have the name of the spouse.     3. Sorry Marge, The Archives in Koblenz would have to be looked up in the directory, Your Genealogical section of the library should have a Theod's German directory. Use Cyndi's list and look for the German Archive lists. I am not sure if they answer e-mails. It has been about 20 years since I received my records. The records have stamps of approval from the district and village. The date of departure was stamped on the records. The columns include military service years, birth,etc. We never did find a record of my grandfather's sisters exit. I guess that women did not need those papers to leave. The reason for the exit papers was to prove that the emigrant did not have a debt.
