    1. Priszen, Luxembourg - or is it now Germany? + HAIZER

    3. Sending to both Trier and Pfalz lists: I have not been able to find location for Priszen, Luxembourg, and I know the borders between Germany and Luxembourg have changed over the years. My guess is that it is near Mettendorf, Germany and the present-day Germany/Luxembourg border. Or has the town name changed over time? Also seeking information on HAIZER (may also have been spelled HESER). Related to research re: Anna Mary HAIZER Born August 24, 1838 in Priszen, Luxembourg. Died February 2, 1886 in White Lake, South Dakota, United States. (Note: Some research indicates the last name of HAIZER might have been HESER in earlier years—or that HESER was simply a translation from Latin church records error.) She married: Nicholas (Nicolauni) KOCH Born June 28, 1822 - in Mettendorf, Germany Died August 2, 1899, in White Lake, South Dakota, United States. If it was a handwritten document, is there any possibility of alternate spellings? Kathy
