Charlene, If your interested in a map of the area, I find ShtetlSeeker (http://www.jewishgen.org/ShtetlSeeker/LocTown.asp) a better tool than GeoServ. ShtetlSeeker also gives a list of the local villages with distances from your village. It works best if you use a central location in the region you are searching, such as Trier (49m45d/06d38m). Poelich/Pölich is 10 miles ENE of Trier.
