Hello, I am looking for information on a Mathias Kramer from Poelick, Trier, Germany. Poelick is on his naturalized papers but I could not find that on a map of Germany. Could/should that be Polich? He was born 15 April 1864 and immigrated to Boston, MA about 1887. I believe his parents were William (Wilhelm?) and Mary. Mathias married Magdalena Lorang 01 May 1892 in Boston.. Any information on Mathias would be appreciated. Thank you, Charlene

A good place to find the location of places in Germany is here: http://gov.genealogy.net/ There is a Familienbuch for Mehring, Longen-Lorsch, und Pölich. There are also church records for the parish of Mehring, which covered Pölich. Both are available at Family History Centers, run by the LDS church.
