I looked in a familenbuch for the Trier area for my granfdfather, Johannes Barthelmes. It said his mother was Ms. Litsch from a place that I couldn't quite make out. It looked something like "Juaio" or "Jario" - the writing was not very legible. Does anyone know of an area with a name similar to this.
