Most of the various immigration books - Burgert, Hacker - have not been microfilmed. I have checked the online indices for the Familybooks from the area. Again - nearly all seem to be Catholic. Even just checking for a similar sounding surname I just haven't had any luck. I'd hoped I'd come across a similar sounding surname - and then at least have a smaller geographical area identified.
