    1. [TRIER-ROOTS] Jung in Trier
    2. Maureen Girard
    3. Hello-- My ancestor was Johann Jacob Jung, b. 25 Jul 1826 at Neunkirchen, near Trier. He came to the U.S. when he was 16 years old, about 1842. He was a Lutheran in Germany, but he converted to the Methodist church after he arrived in New York City. He later became a Methodist minister, serving churches in Missouri, Illinois, Iowa, Nebraska, Wisconsin, etc. Nothing more is known about his life in Europe. Does anyone on the list have Jungs in the family? Can anyone point me to sources that would help me find this man in Trier? Thank you, Maureen
