Hi Ann: I have several photos of a Maria and a Christina (twins) Andres/Andree family that are somehow (but unidentifiably) linked to my Müller, Backes and Naumann families from Blisen and Namborn, Saarland. The photos can be viewed by clicking this link. http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~johnnasgenealogypage/Backes/Backes%20Photo%20Gallery.htm They appeared to have lived in Chicago, IL and Buffalo, NY. Hi Johanna, I don't think the Maria and Christiana (twins) are who I am looking for, because I don't think that the Maria and Dorothea ever immigrated. I know that three of their siblings (that immigrated )Nikolous, Peter and Katherine all came to Scranton, Pa and never left. Catherine Andres married John Kloss and Peter Andres Sr married Johanna Martine and Nikolous Andres married Barbara Arend. Their father Johann Andres did immigrate to the U.S in 1897, after his wife Catherina (Kriesbach) died in Hermeskeil in Dec. 1880. Their were their three more siblings, Elizabeth born 3 Jan 1858 in Damflos, another Maria born 6 Jan. 1866 in Damflos and a son Johann born 11 April 1873 in Damflos. He died at birth. Maybe someone from Germany will have some information on the families of Maria (Andres) Kriesbach and Dorothea (Andres) Barthel. I did try to view the pictures you mentioned below but they are no longer there. Thank you for your trouble. Finally with this e-mail I got to see the photo's. I went back into the first e-mail you sent with the pictures and still couldn't see them. I have no idea why. We may be related somehow way back but at this point I don't know how. Thanks again.
