I had my grandmother's line done-Schonecken-Eifel, Germany, Neuerburg, Germany- I think these may be north of Trier. Neuerburg is in the Bitburg area.

My great-grandfather was Johann ZAPP from Schoenecken. Also, my gg-grandfather was Jakob HOFFMANN from Neuerburg. His mother was Marie Catherina ALECKEN of Neuerburg. My family came from Schoenecken-Eifel also. The name is FEINEN. Any connection?
