Dear Baudouin, My grandfather was born in Oberbillig, Germany and we think that he was Baptized in Wasserbillig, Lux. I have not been able to find any records for the date of his birth 2 December 1844. His parents were Mathias Klasen and Maria Ley (Lay,Lei). Do you know where this birth or baptismal record could be found? I have a friend who has done a massive search for my ancestors but has not come up with this birth record and he thinks that the record is in Wasserbillig. The Luxembourg listings of parishes does not have any records for Wasserbillig.
