Kathy, I have found my Schommer/Schummer ancestors in all the Fhc films for Hermeskeil & copied the documentation from 1746 . The book that Reiner Schmitt wrote went back to 1719 & that is where documentation on my 4th great grandparents would have been. I May have to make a trip to Salt Lake city sometime unless I can find the book somewhere. Thanks Mike Schummer
