I am researching Catherine (or Kathrina) RIESDORF, B-19MAR1868 in Luxembourg. Emigrated to United States in 1885 with childless relatives. I believe parents to be Peter (or John) and Katherine. I was told the RIESDORF family owned several vineyards. When her father died, she wrote and told her siblings to divide her share amongst themselves as she was not returning to Luxembourg. I believe it maybe in the Greiveldange area, but I'm very unsure about that. I have a photograph of Peter and Katherine RIESDORF, taken by "Ch. Bernhoeft, photographe de la Cour Grand Ducale".
