Well, I guess I'm wrong on a number of fronts. First of all, I misspelled the village. It is the city of Bocholt, about 40 miles north of Dusseldorf. It is about 140 miles north of Trier. When I first joined the Trier list, it was not at all clear how big an area it was meant to cover. I posted (twice) to the list asking if this was the proper list and if there was any list that better covered the area immediately northwest of Dusseldorf including possibly a bit into Netherlands. Although various people have been very helpful on a number of matters, there was never a reply to that specific question, so I've stayed with the list. Anybody care to respond?
