BATH, BATT, BOTT REUNION On July 3, 1999, the descendents of Johann George Bath will celebrate their heritage at the Morgan County Rural. Electrification Association (REA) building located at 20169 U.S. Hwy 34 in Fort Morgan, Colorado. Johann George Bath was born 1714 in Germany and was one of the original groups of Germans who immigrated to Russia in 1766 at the invitation of Catherine the Great, Czarist of Russia. The all day reunion will begin at 10:30 A.M. The event will honor two distinguished guests. Mrs... Mary Bath Mohrlang was born in Frank, Russia in 1896 and immigrated to America with her family in 1906. She has lived in the Brush area since then, and will be celebrating her 103 birthday the day of the reunion. Heinrich Batt from Syke, Germany is the other honored guest. Mr.. Batt was born in Frank, Russia in 1926. He will share his experiences about being deported to Siberia in 1941 with all the other Germans living in Russia at the time. Mr.. Batt experienced many hardships until 1977 when he was finally allowed to leave Siberia and return to his ancestral homeland in Germany. All Bath, Batt, Bott descendants are invited to attend this important gathering. Please bring your picnic lunch, family photos, old letters, papers, and any genealogy information you might like to share with other interested relatives.
