I am looking for a Frederick Young(Jung) born 1834 Bavaria and his wife Catherine(I do not know her maiden name), they emigrated from the Alsace or Lorraine area between 1850-1860 to Rochester, New York. I was concentrating my research in the Baden and Wuertemburg area without any luck, my mother seems to remember family members saying they were from the Lorraine area, but on the 1860 census Frederick Young lists he was born in Bavaria. There is no listing for a Frederick Young on the Baden-Wuertemburg emigration lists and no listing for him in the Alsace-Lorraine emigration book. I have recently joined this list, because from other postings I have seen, there are quite a few Jungs in the Trier area that this list covers. Michelle Nardone kitkat1@ptdprolog.net
