Jeanie, The "Luxemburger Gazette" was a German-language newspaper based in Dubuque, Iowa which was published from August 4, 1871 through 1918. "Luxembourgers in the New World" is a 1987 two-volume reedition based on the work of Nicholas Gonner's "Die Luxemburger in der Neuen Welt", originally published in 1889, volume 2 of which includes a 682-page index to the Gazette. The book was originally written by Gonner and reeditioned by editors Jean Ensch, Jean-Claude Muller, and Robert E. Owen. As you spell the name, "Schetgen" appears in the Gazette index only once: "SCHETGEN 28.06.1917, 5" which means that the June 28, 1917 issue of the Gazette mentions the surname "Schetgen" on page 5. There are similar surnames listed in the index, including the following: SCHENTGEN, Michel SCHENTGEN, Nick SCHENTGEN, Nicolas SCHENTGEN, Nicolas SCHENTGEN, Nikolas SHILTGEN, John Joey Schumacher P.O.
