I have traced my EITING family to a "Zeuwent". I believe this may be current day Zieuwent, which is near Lichtenvoorde, Netherlands. This is about 18 km NNW of Bocholt, Germany, and about 30 km SW of Enschede, Netherlands. They left Zeuwent May 7, 1846, arrived in Boston USA on July 20, 1846, and moved on to Brown County Wisconsin in spring of 1850. What Catholic church would the people of Zieuwent have attended?
