Hello, I have difficulties to locate either the birth or the wedding of my ancestor Michel MADERT. He lived in Trier (~1850) but cannot be traced there for birth and weeding. A likely location for these events can be Saarburg (Germany). I wrote to the town archiv. Without answer I looked for the LDS microfilms of the church registers of Saarburg, but (no luck!) these are not available for european residents! Perhaps is someone in the States or in Canada working on this films and can have a look for me? (film numbers are 556 225 and 556 228). Many thanks, Jean-Jacques Schwarz
