My relatives came from the town of Freilingen. I read on one of the Luxembourg sites that towns ending in -ingen were from the Middle Ages. Does anyone know if there is a meaning for this ending and what language it would be. A friend looked in a book of German endings and did not find it. Claire Rozbesky Homertown@aol.com
