I am new to the list as I have just discovered my Luxembourg roots. I am researching SCHABERT/SCHAPERT, KOHNER, SCHAEFFER/SCHAFER, MAJERUS, WEBBER/WEBER, and KLEIN. This is what I have so far: Theresa Schabert b. 29 Sept. 1860 in St. Peter, Minnesota. daughter of Frank Schabert and Margareth Majerus. Frank Schabert was b. Luxembourg (?) son of Mathias Schapert and Angelica Schaeffer/Schafer. Mathias and Angelica m.22 February 1814 in Rosport, Luxembourg. Mathias Schapert b.1784 was the son of Mathias or Hubert d. 1874 and Susanna Kohner. Angelica b.in Rosport, was the daughter of Mathias Schaeffer/Schaefer and Maria Klein. Margareth Majerus was b.1824 Luxembourg and d.1900-1910 in Minnesota. She was the daughter of Nicolas Majerus and Elizabeth Webber/Weber. She may have been from northern Luxembourg ("Little Switzerland") Is anyone researching this family?
