I am looking for information on the small community named BUTZWEILER. I have traced some of my family with the surname FISCH to this community and I would like to know if anyone knows if there is a Catholic Church located there. If so what's its name and would they have the records from the 1800's and possibly prior to the 1800's. If they do not have the records there where might I look to locate birth records? I am trying to verify data on Theodor FISCH who reportedly was born there 23 August 1831 and then immigrated to the United States leaving from Antwerp in 1852 bound for New York. He later settled in Iowa and then Minnesota where he died 4 Jan 1911. I believe he may have been the son of Nicholas FISCH and Annae RUETER, but I do not know this for certain.
