Phil, Remich is definitely a town and WINTRANGE is a village nearby, between Remich and another small town called Remerschen. As Remich and Remerschen, Wintrange is located on the Moselle river and the whole region is famous for its vineyards. If people say the come from Wintrange, Remich, they mean Wintrange, near Remich. I have no idea what this book is all about - just saw the link. If the authors state that the book is about Remich genealogy, Wintrange genealogy is likely to be excluded, but I suggest you contact the authors and ask them your question.
