Thought I'd give some more information on this book for anyone who might be able to purchase it for Joanne. I have received a copy from a elderly relative in Germany, but he had to go quite a distance to buy it for me. I would have to check on that. He does not have e-mail so it could be a while. It is a wonderful book. It is in German and has a few paragraphs about each of the towns listed and then lots of pictures of each town now and in the past. I just checked amazon.com, barnesandnoble.com and borders.com and none have it available. Maybe someone else knows of somewhere else to find it. As a matter of fact, one of our Lofi houses is pictured in the book in Malborn, although it is not documented as such. There is another house behind the church built by my family c. 1865. We have just found out this information in the last few weeks. If there is anyone with knowledge of the town of Malborn that might be able to provide more info on the houses in town I would greatly appreciate it.
