Schweitzer, Ph D, Sc D ISBN 0-913857-15-7 There are 6 chapters. Chapter 1. German Bckground - talks about German history and as a recommended reading list. Chapter 2. Germans to America - talks about German immigrants and their migrations. Chapter 3. Bridging the Atlantic - talks about family sources, different indexes (historis, immigrations, periodicals etc.) Chapter 4. Types of GErman Records - talks about German governmental archives, church arhives, US archives etc. Chapter 5. German Record Repositories - more different archives Chapter 6. The German Language - German wrods, print and script, German/Latin terminology, dates & times, & names.
