Werner, My family is from the Echtnernacht region of Luxembourg with the exception of my great grandfather who came from Trier. (immigrated about 1870). His wife, my great grandmother had always said that she was from Sensfeld. We have never been able to locate such a town or village. I thought she might have meant Sinspelt which is near Bitburg but have searched the records there with no luck. Do you know of any town of village in your area that she might have been talking about.
