Hello Joan, No I don't know what ship my ggrandfather left in. I know that he did travel all the way around the Cape and into Mexico before he ended up in Indiana. I'm not sure why he ended up in Indiana or how he arrived there either. I haven't been able to find out any thing more about him before he came to America or about his family in Trier, Germany.
