    1. Ships listing Luxembougers
    2. Hi Brenda! I would love for you to check on my Lux. family in your ships listings -- they arrived in the US sometime between 1849-1877 The names are Pierre (Peter) BIEVER b about 1830-1840 Mary SADLER b about 1835-40, wife of Pierre Jacob BIEVER b 1861 HARIG, John Sr. or Jr. (Jr., b about 1848) HARIG, Peter or Thomas FELTON, Margareta b 1824 - came to USA about 1849-50 FELTON, Pierre and Nickolas - to USA prior to 1851 NOTE: Mary HARIG b Iowa 1874 - Her mother was Isadora Sidrine FELTON-MARKS b 1850. Her grandmother was Margareta FELTON b 1824, who came over from LUX? pregnant and unmarried about 1849-50. (She later married MARKS). Family rumor says as a young girl, she worked for a royal family in LUX or France, and had an affair with the Prince. When her parents found out what she had done, they cast her off to live in Iowa with her brothers, Pierre and Nickolas FELTON. The Prince had crossed-eyes, and when the baby "Isadora Siderine or Sidrine" was born on Feb 27, 1850, she too had crossed eyes, proving the theory of her affair, and "royal" descendency for Isadora. The name ISADORA SIDERINE was supposedly related to the Royal family somehow. They were all French speaking Catholic, and settled in Black Hawk County Iowa, near Waterloo/Cedar Falls. Thank you very much!
