Recently I came across a location mentioned in Mergen's manuscript of Trier immigrants. The location is Kalenborn, District of Daun, Prussia. Has anyone on this list heard of this place? I am trying to determine which microfilms I might order from the LDS Family History Center to do further research on my wife's GG Grandfather. The family name is Pflepsen, but I have found it spelled Pflipsen, Phlepsen, Flepsen, Flepzen, Philpsen, Flepps, Pflepson, and Pflipson. At a local Fam Hist Center I did find a listing for Katholische Kirche Daun, (Kr. Daun) and 4 films covering 1656 to 1914. This might be a good place to start, but I have no idea if these films would include the location Kalenborn.
