Hi: The parishes you mentioned- the Feulens belong to the present day commune of Niederrfeulen. Mertzig belongs to the commune of Mertzig. There are all parishes, but there are also civil records for the communes of Mertzig and Niedefeulen. They are comparable to tiny adminstrative districts. The marriage index cards are more than likely the file cards made on the pre-1800 marriages of the area. I have access to these films occasionally when I travelto St. thomas college. I also have a copy of the marriage index for niederfeulen from 1802-1882 but it is not in my computer yet. On the parish/ Parishes, I cannot now answer your question, but I will checkif there is more than 2 parishes. Bob Olson
