This is the daughter of the lady in the previous obit. that I posted. Notice that she is also listed as coming from Geisfeldt, Germany but this time the place name is spelled differently. Mrs. Anna Bender Former Resident Dies in St. Cloud, Minnesota A telegram received in this city Sunday stated that Mrs. Anna Bender, who formally resided in this city died at St. Clouds that morning. Mrs. Bender had been in very poor health since last winter when she was stricken with paralysis, the announcement does not come unexpectedly to friends and relatives in this city. The deceased was about sixty-seven years of age and was born in Geisfedlt, Germany. Her first husband, John Knope, died about twenty years ago, when the family home was at Sharon. Later, she married Balthaser Bender, who passed away about eight years ago. Mrs. Bender has been living in St. Cloud for about two years. She is survived by four children, John Knope, Denver, Colorado; August Knope, and Miss Elizabeth Knope St. Cloud, Minnesota; and Mrs. Nicholas Trierweiler, who resides near Stanley. He also leaves a brother Peter Bungert of the town of Sharon and a sister, F. X. Ford of Mankato, Washington. Another brother, Nicholas Bungert, died at his home near Marathon City, June 16, last.
