I am new on this so maybe this has been run before. Anyone who is searching for Immigration information from GERMANY or LUXEMBOURG should see Glazier and Filby's "Germans To America". There are 60 volumes that I know of that start with January 1, 1850 and go to May, 1881. All books are indexed in the back by surnames. The information given is Port of Departure, Name of Ship, Date and Port of Arrival as well as names and ages of passengers. Larger city libraries and some Historical Centers should have all these books. I found my Luxembourg ancestors in one of these books. Lloyd R.
