Hello, I am a newcomer to the TrierRoots mailing list but I have already gotten some very good information from the archives and from the messages I've received. I'm not sure if anyone can help me with this but decided to ask. I am trying to find information about the daily lives of my ancestors who were from Irsch and Oberzerf near Saarburg and Trier. From September 29 to October 12 I will be living in a Saarburg apartment so that I can go to archives and government offices in the area and look for information. I am wondering if anyone knows of a person in that area who speaks English. who can read the old German script and would be willing to help me. Or does anyone have any suggestions on how to go about finding such a person? It would really facilitate my search. I would, of course, pay for the service. Kathy Gosz [email protected]
