I have been reading briefly [ i will get back to it shortly] the subject of naploeons soldiers and fighting in russia and if he had lists. I recently read the chronicles and the history of Dahlenburg. they had a historian and genealogist do some reasearch of the Lunenburg area. there is a book of that research out. I got the translation from google on their website and it was telling of the trek of the the soldiers passing through. Evidently Frech stayed there for three years. I wonder what happens when they stay for three years. Now, also I wanted to say that their is a famous battle at the Göhrde in 1813. One can find maps of this battle down to time frames by going to Göhrde at google. They have a local museum given over to this history of the battle. I wonder what names of soldiers can be found there?
